Kamal & Meera Jasmine will act together?

Though Logidadas is an established director in the Malayalam film industry, in Kollywood circles he is known as someone who is associated with actress Meera Jasmine. There were many rumors linking up this director-actress duo and he is said to be a reason for Meera’s non-cordial relationship with her family.

Meera always referred Logidadas as her mentor and guide but distanced herself from him for some time and did not feature in his films. Now the scenario is changed and Meera is said to appear in a Malayalam film to be directed by Logidadas.

In a recent press meet the talented director state, “Naivedhyam is a Malayalam film which I directed is being remade in Tamil. I always discuss affection, love and the finer aspects of relationships in my films”. He also reported that everything between him and Meera Jasmine is fine and she will be seen in his next film Chembat, the story of which is based on Tamil epic Silapathigaram. While discussing popular Tamil heroes, Logidadas said that he is planning to direct Kamal very soon. Of course, there are no confirmations on this from Kamal’s side till now. Rajini & Kamal not to participate

It's the year of celebration for Tamil cinema as it steps its foot on its 75th birthday. To celebrate the occasion, the president of Tamil Cinema Federation Sarathkumar earlier planned to conduct a star night in Malaysia and Singapore in August. It was also informed that the non-attendees of this event would receive a red card.
Despite this announcement and due to non-availability of many big names, the star night was however postponed to January for which many thought all the kingpins would grace the event with their presence. However, as it turned out that, Rajini and Kamal Haasan are said to have turned down the invitation.

Besides, it is also rumored that many stars feel awkward attending such star nights on a regular basis, which are conducted mainly for raising money. And it seems many would actually turn their back to the invitation. As the two biggies have shown their disinterest, others might just follow suit.

Secrets of Dasavatharam

Producer Oscar Ravichandran has reportedly previewed the rushes of Dasavatharam to few media persons in Chennai. Until now everything about the movie was kept under the wraps.

One of the costliest films to be made in Tamil, Dasavatharam has created a lot of hype since it features Kamal Haasan in ten different roles. Directed by K S Ravikumar, the movie features Asin, Mallika Sherawat among others in the cast. Ravikumar has brought Himesh Reshammiya from Mumbai to score music for the movie.

According to reports appeared in a section of vernacular press, Dasavatharam features Kamal Haasan in never-seen-before roles.

The actor, who strives for excellence in every film of his, has donned different make ups for Dasavatharam and makes the sets find it difficult to recognize Kamal Haasan.

The movie is about Kamal Haasan and Asin, who embarks of a journey in search of a secret. In their journey, they encounter nine different characters, all played by Kamal Haasan himself.

Kamal appear as a 90-year-old lady with a hunchback, he plays an unidentifiable tribal leader and appears very dark.

The highlight is a 70-year-old with a fair complexion played by Kamal Haasan. For a baddy role, the actor appears as a tall and fat man with a different face. Kamal also don a comical role plays a Japanese youth besides the role of the US President George Bush, according to the reports in the media.
