Jeeva’s wife Anees directs “Dhaam Dhoom”

Some scenes in ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ featuring Jayam Ravi, Kangana Ranawat and Lakshmi Rai are yet to be shot. Since director Jeeva passed away in Russia before these scenes could be completed, the film is still unfinished.

There was vast speculation as to who would direct Dhaam Dhoom after Director Jeeva’s death. Various names did the rounds from Raja, Jeyam Ravi’s director brother to Jeeva’s mentor P.C. Sreeram.

Jeeva’s wife and costume designer Anees will direct the remaining portion of the film Dhaam Dhoom.

Anees has film experience as she already worked as P C Sriram’s assistant. P C Sriram said that Anees would direct the Dhaam Dhoom movie. P C Sreeram will be wielding the camera for the film from now and the shooting will commence from today.

Santosh Subramaniam (Tamil) is a forthcoming Tamil film Jayam Ravi and Genelia D'Souza are playing the lead roles.Prakash Raj plays the role of Jayam Ravi's father. Director M. Raja directs this film. Music is set to be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. It is a remake of Bommarillu. Bommarillu was a blockbuster in Andhra Pradesh, and this film, interestingly, was directed by Bhaskar who was a one-time assistant of M. Raja. Both Bhaskar and M. Raja are known to share an intimate friendship, right from their days at the Film and television Institute of Tamil Nadu where they studied. Genelia who won rave reviews for her performance in Bommarillu reprises her role in the Tamil version too.
