“Though I was not inclined to act after marriage, I got good opportunities which made me change my decision”, says Malavika.

Addressing media persons during the shooting for Kattuviriyan in Chennai, the actress said, “I am happy that I still find good opportunities come my way”.

Malavika is playing the female lead in Kattuviriyan, which is fast approaching its completion.

She says, “It is one of the thrillers, which is sure to floor audiences”.

Malavika says, “I have been nominated for the best actress supporting role for my performance in Thiruttu Payalae for Filmfare Awards. I am hopeful of winning the award”.

On the punishment to Sanjay Dutt, she says, “Unfortunately it is bit too harsh. Hopefully Sanjay will overcome it”.
